CAR-7100 Introduction to Masonry

This course prepares students for entry into the masonry trade by introducing the fundamental skills, standards, and knowledge required in construction and building environments. Students will learn core NCCER competencies along with essential topics such as safety practices, tool use, masonry techniques, building codes and inspections, restoration, estimating, sustainability, supervisory functions, energy options, and energy efficiency. The course also includes OSHA‑10 training and Employability Skills. Successful completion equips students to transition into advanced skilled‑trades programs and/or pursue entry‑level employment within the masonry trade.

Refund Policy
If a student officially drops from a class or classes before the 10 percent date of the class(es), a 75 percent tuition refund will be given for the class(es) dropped. A 100% refund will be made if the student drops from the class before the class start date. No refunds will be given after the 10 percent date. If a course fails to materialize, refunds are automatically processed. (The refund policy is subject to change.
