CAR-7100 Masonry Basics – 171 hours

This course prepares students for entry into the masonry trade by introducing the fundamental skills, standards, and knowledge required in construction and building environments. Students will learn core NCCER competencies, including masonry safety, tool and equipment use, material handling, mortar preparation, brick and block installation techniques, residential masonry applications, and construction math. The course also develops workplace communication and employability skills while emphasizing safe work practices, quality craftsmanship, and industry standards. Successful completion prepares students for advanced skilled-trades training and entry-level employment opportunities in the masonry industry. The course also includes OSHA-10 training.

Anyone under 18 will have to register in person and sign the Student Education Records Acknowledgement Form. Once registered, someone from ConEd will contact the student to sign an NCCER-required form.

Notes when using Online registration:
If you have an address change, name change, etc., we will need this updated information so we can contact you in case of a class change/cancellation or refund. Entering different information on the registration form will not update any existing records. Refund Policy
If a student officially drops from a class or classes before the 10 percent date of the class(es), a 75 percent tuition refund will be given for the class(es) dropped. A 100% refund will be made if the student drops from the class before the class start date. No refunds will be given after the 10 percent date. If a course fails to materialize, refunds are automatically processed. (The refund policy is subject to change.
