In today’s competitive business world, development of effective communication skills is more essential than ever. Companies and careers are built on these foundational skills, while they are also a critical component of lasting success. Whether a face-to-face conversation or a professionally written e-mail exchange, a meaningful message can establish a connection that leaves a powerful impression.

In this course, participants will learn to identify and apply effective communication skills, as well as employ active listening techniques. In addition, they will evaluate their communication style and determine their specific challenges to successful communication, whether it be verbal or non-verbal messages. They will develop action plans for improving in these areas, after returning to the workplace.

Upon completion of the course, participants should possess the knowledge and skills to demonstrate a noticeable improvement in their ability to communicate effectively on the job.
