Due to power and internet outages, multiple building issues, and road closures in areas across the community from Wednesday’s storm, all Gaston College campuses will be closed on Thursday, May 9, 2024. All online exams will continue as scheduled. Students with classes that had in-person exams scheduled for May 9, should check Blackboard, email, or contact their instructors for an update on their exam.

We understand the timing of this closure is not ideal, but we want to ensure the safety of our students and employees. We do not currently anticipate any changes to the scheduled graduation ceremony on Friday, May 10.
