Q. Has my transcript from another school been received or has it been evaluated for transfer credit?

A. To see if transcript from another school has been received, please click on ‘my documents’ in the student menu on Self-Service. To see if a transcript from another school has been evaluated, please view your transcript in Self-Service. You may also contact the Records Office at 704.922.6232.

Q. How do I obtain a copy of my transcript?

A. Please click the Transcript Request link for information about obtaining your transcript. Official transcripts are $7 per transcript. Student copies are free.

 

Q. Has my application been received?

A. Call the Records Office at 704.922.6232.

 

Q. What are your office hours?

A. Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday: 8:00 a.m. – noon. Our summer hours are Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday: CLOSED.

 

Q. When are tuition and fees due?

A. Payment deadlines are available on the Academic Calendar. The calendar can be accessed on the left side of the page.

 

Q. Will I get a copy of my schedule in the mail?

A. No. You may pick up a copy of your schedule in the Student Records and Registration Office in the Myers Center. A picture ID is required to obtain a schedule. You may also print a copy in Self-Service.

 

Q. When do classes start?

A. Please access our Academic Calendar for start and end dates for each semester. The calendar can be accessed on the left side of the page.

 

Q. When will grades be available?

A. Grades are due 24 hours after the final exam. Grades are available on Self-Service as soon as the instructor posts them.

 

Q. What is my student ID#?

A. Your student ID # is a number assigned by Gaston College when you apply to the school for admission. This number is also known as College ID in Self-Service. You can get your student ID # from the Student Records and Registration Office or in Self-Service. In Self-Service the College ID (student ID) is on your profile page.

 

Q. Can you check to see if a class is filled?

A. Self-Service has the most current information for class availability.
