Gaston College to host career fair

A career fair at Gaston College on Wednesday, March 20, gives job seekers the opportunity to meet representatives from over 70 regional businesses. The free event, open to all past and current Gaston College students and to the community, takes place in the Myers Center Auditorium on the Dallas campus from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Career fair attendees can expect to learn about full-time, part-time, seasonal and work-based learning job opportunities in a wide range of career fields. Several of the fields that will be represented include Health, Manufacturing, Criminal Justice, and Business. Gaston College’s Work-Based Learning and Placement office has organized the event to help pair job seekers with businesses in the area. “Companies are hiring now, and this event gives those looking for work the opportunity to meet and interact with many local employers who want to find the right people to fill their open positions,” said Joy Morrow, Director of Apprenticeships and Work-Based Learning.
