Work Study Program
Through its Financial Aid Office, the College participates in a federally funded college work-study program, which provides on-campus work opportunities for students who need financial assistance to attend Gaston College. Available work opportunities may include assignments in one of the College’s libraries, faculty or administrative offices, laboratories, and buildings and grounds maintenance.
Students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours to be eligible. Other factor such as financial need and academic progress are used to determine the number of hours a person can work. Students are compensated on a monthly basis.
