Honors College

The ECU Honors College is now available for transfer students who are transferring from a NC Community College. This new opportunity is for students entering Fall 2021 as a campus-based student. With this opportunity, students will receive a scholarship valued at $1,250.00 per semester for five semesters, along with other benefits such as priority registration, priority admission to graduate programs, additional advising and access to a host of high impact experiences (study abroad, research and internships).  

To be invited to apply to the Honors College, students must meet the following criteria:

• Submit completed ECU application by December 8 (including transcripts)
• 24 credit hours completed post-high school
• 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA from all institutions
• Entering in fall term
• Last institution attended must be a North Carolina community college
