Notification of a CAMPUS-WIDE EMERGENCY OR DISASTER will be made to the campus community by several communication channels to ensure the safety of all students, faculty and staff.

The following communication channels will be used as the GC notification system:

  • GC Alert System
  • Campus-wide email
  • Person-to-person in academic and administration buildings through instructors and administrators, Campus Police, or Plant Operations personnel.
  • WSGE and/or other local radio or TV stations
  • Emergency Public Address System
