Defensive Driving Course

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Did you know there are over 253 million cars on the road with 1.3 million accidents resulting in death each year? With numbers like these, driving safely should be our top priority.  The defensive driving courses at Gaston College are designed with this need in mind and offered in cooperation with the Safety & Health Council of North Carolina.  Each class has been developed for a specific need or age group.  Whether you are a young driver wanting to improve your skills, or have received a ticket or court order, we have a class for you.

Knowing Your Options

Gaston College offers three unique defensive driving courses to fit your needs. We are not responsible for determining eligibility for either course. If you are unsure of the class you are signing up for, you should refer back to the office instructing you to take the course.  Please note: if you have received a ticket or court order, you will be directed as to which class to take. Gaston College cannot make that determination. If you are uncertain, please contact the courthouse or your attorney. Registration and payment must be made no later than 24 hours before a class begins.
