The Multicultural Affairs Committee will present a live Zoom lecture on female artists by Art Instructor, Liliya Zalevskaya on Monday, April 19 at noon.

Her presentation will focus on “Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?” an influential 1971 essay by American Art Historian Linda Nochlin. Using the essay as a starting point, Zalevskaya will discuss some of the difficulties women artists face. She will look at past and contemporary female artists who have achieved greatness.
