GC Rhino Scholars refers to a collection of student-enriching opportunities available to Gaston College students. These opportunities include the Scholar of Global Distinction program, the GC Honors program, GC Travel programs, and Rhino Scholars Events.

These programs give students a greater understanding of their state, region, country and the world. They empower students with a deeper knowledge of their specific academic interests and introduce them to a wide variety of new topics and experiences that broaden awareness of themselves as parts of a greater whole.

The goal of GC Rhino Scholars is to provide abundant opportunities to experience personal growth and deepen intellectual inquiry as Gaston College students.
