Global Perspectives from Germany offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to another culture. For students who prefer to travel with a group, this program provides an excellent option to explore different countries.

Global Perspectives from Germany

During this program, students will stroll with our expert local guides in the German streets of Munich, Berlin and Nuremberg, and will learn about the rich history and culture that the country has to offer.

Discover the customs and traditions while visiting some of the top museums and attractions, and learn how Berlin was at the heart of the Cold War.

Each day will begin with an excursion into the surrounding area, followed by instructor-led session. Great food, fun and friendships await you. Make plans now by completing the interest form.

International Travel:

Get your passport ready.

How to apply:

Step 1: Complete the interest form.

Step 2: Make sure you have been vaccinated and have had a booster shot for Covid-19. Make copies of your shot records.

Step 3: If you do not have a passport, fill out the paperwork and get it submitted. It takes several weeks/months to get a passport back. Passports must be valid until at least six months after the trip.

Step 4: Make a $600 deposit at the College Business Office to hold your spot by January 15, 2023. This will be applied to the total program cost. ($500 of the non-refundable deposit may be applied to a future study abroad program if you withdraw). Payments can be made in person or over the phone by calling 704.922.6435.

Step 5: Register for the HUM 120 Section D6B course for Spring 2023. All participants must register for this class by January 6, 2023.
