Honors Program
Honors Program
The GC Honors Program offers GC students, whether they plan to transfer to a four-year institution or enter the workforce next, a way to deepen their academic experience. By taking honors classes that offer more challenging coursework that encourages deep engagement with the material and by participating in extracurricular campus events, GC Honors Program students develop intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and leadership qualities.
Honors Pathways
Two honors pathways offer students a choice in how to shape their honors experience:
MOE Pathway
The MOE (Merit, Opportunity, and Enrichment) Pathway is for students who want to complete honors projects or participate in honors opportunities based on personal or scholastic interest without planning to transfer to an honors program at another college or university.
HORN Pathway
The HORN (Honors Opportunities for Research and Networking) Pathway is for students who want to complete honors projects or participate in honors opportunities as part of transfer credits to an honors program at a 4-year college or university.
