The Gaston College Customized Training Department now offers textile training virtually.<\/p>\n
Our Virtual Textile Academy is a stackable credentials program that offers a comprehensive pathway for those seeking specialized skills and expertise in the textile industry. Designed to accommodate learners at various stages of their career journey, the Academy provides a flexible and dynamic approach to skill development and advancement in the field of textiles.<\/p>\n
All of the training courses include in-depth modules covering all the topics that we’ve been teaching at our in-person training sessions for years. Through an interactive platform, students will explore the world of textiles and gain a foundational understanding of fibers, fabrics and their applications.<\/p>\n
Throughout the courses, students will engage in practical exercises to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop their skills in textile analysis and evaluation. <\/p>\n

PLEASE NOTE: <\/strong>Payment for continuing education classes is expected at the time of registration, as the classes are on a first-come, first-served basis. After adding desired course(s), click the Next <\/strong>button at the top of page to proceed to payment window. You do not need to sign in. You can complete the payment as a guest. You cannot DROP\/WITHDRAW from classes using WebAdvisor.<\/p>\n Refund Policy <\/strong><\/p>\n If a student officially drops from a class or classes before the 10 percent date of the class(es), a 75 percent tuition refund will be given for the class(es) dropped. A 100% refund will be made if the student drops from the class prior to the class start date. No refunds will be given after the 10 percent date. If a course fails to materialize, refunds are automatically processed. (The refund policy is subject to change. Refunds of tuition will be issued in accordance with the current state and college policy.)
