Opioid Education Campaign Fall 2020 Events
Gaston College is committed to providing opioid education to students, employees, and the surrounding communities. Below are events for the Fall 2020 semester. These events are free and open to the public.
Panel Discussion: Managing Recovery and Self-Care in Days of Isolation | Oct. 15, 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Gaston Controlled Substances Coalition will be holding a free online panel discussion featuring experts who can help persons living with Opioid Use Disorder recognize symptoms of social isolation, learn self-care methods, and where to find helpful resources. It will also teach those who love, support, and serve these persons to provide appropriate help during these times.
This 60-minute discussion will include multiple presentations as well as a Q&A period. The event will be held on Zoom. Register here.
