Admission Requirements:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Complete all 7 steps as listed on the contact form<\/p>\n

Upon completion of all 7 steps, students will receive an email with verification of date and time of zoom sessions<\/p>\n

Attend the following 3 sessions via ZOOM:<\/p>\n

ID Verification<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. must provide 1 of the following: unexpired state issued ID, school ID, military ID or passport<\/li>\n
  2. Social Security Card<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Placement Testing<\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Score at on a 9th<\/sup> grade reading level or higher to qualify for Adult High School<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Orientation <\/strong><\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Complete important documents including an attendance and progress agreement<\/li>\n
      2. Meet with AHS staff to review transcript and courses needed for graduation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Graduation Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n
          \n
        1. Have a total of 22 credits as required by the State of North Carolina. A list of required courses can be found on page 4 of the AHS student handbook<\/li>\n
        2. Students must pass a comprehensive cumulative exam in each class<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Attendance Requirements <\/strong><\/h2>\n
            \n
          1. Students must work at least 15 hours every week and keep progress out of the red to remain in good standing in Adult High School<\/li>\n
          2. Maintain passing grades on every assignment based on a 10-point grading scale<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
