Gaston College offers a two year Criminal Justice Technology – Forensic Science associate degree program. As a part of this program, students will earn a certificate in latent evidence as they learn about how to process evidence and crime scenes.

There are three ways to complete your degree in Criminal Justice Technology – Forensic Science at Gaston College: on-campus, online, or a hybrid of both. Our on-campus program offers a traditional, in-class approach.
For those looking for a more flexible option, the program is also available online. Students participate in accelerated classes that often last around eight weeks. For students who want to push themselves, this program can potentially be completed in as little as 18 months, allowing them to get their degree and join the field professionally.
Students can also elect to mix the approach in a hybrid program that combines on-campus classes with online courses.
