SPARC Professional Development Conference

The SPARC Professional Development Conference highlights inquiry-based learning techniques, active student engagement, increased student persistence and retention efforts, undergraduate research, and teaching with technology. While SPARC is a STEM initiative, this conference is open to faculty and administration from all disciplines.

Concurrent sessions are scheduled as 60-minute sessions (50 minutes of activity and 10 minutes for questions) dedicated to enhancing participant’s knowledge of current topics in education through presentations given by peers and leaders in these topical areas. Presenters are encouraged to actively engage participants in their presentations. Sessions may be presented more than once during the day. The material presented at this conference is typically geared toward college and high school faculty and administration.
