WSGE was named the FM Station Of The Year for 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2023 by the Carolina Beach Music Awards. The station also received an Appreciation Award in 2009. Johnny B. (John Barkley) has been the recipient of the Club/Mobile DJ Award for several consecutive years.

Effective immediately, the Beach Music Calendar has been discontinued. Nonprofit organizations wishing to have an event announced on the station must provide all pertinent information two weeks in advance on the PSA Submission form. For more information, please call 704-922-2246.
