Learn and Earn Online

GASTON COLLEGE is providing online college courses for high school students!

Gaston College is proud to be a part of Governor Mike Easley and the NC General Learn and Earn OnlineAssembly’s Newest Initiative “Learn and Earn Online.” Beginning fall 2007, Learn and Earn Online (LEO) is a program allowing high school students to take introductory-level college courses online and earn both college AND high school credit.

Any qualified public and charter school student in grade 9-12 can enroll in GCLearn & Earn Online courses as long as they have met college requirements and required course prerequisites. Students should check with their school guidance counselor for specific information about participation.

  • The courses are ONLINE. They are offered at your high school as part of the regular school day.
  • There is no cost to students for the course or textbook. The Governor has a plan to fund enrollments through the Department of Public Instruction.
