Welcome...

Dear Students,

Welcome!   Our students tell us that they like attending Gaston College.  The classes are strong, and faculty and staff go the extra mile to be helpful.  As you embark on your educational journey, the Division of Student Services is honored to be able to assist you.

Our division includes the Office of Admissions, the Counseling and Career Development Center, the Office of the Registrar, the Office of Financial Aid and Veteran’s Affairs, and the Office of Student Programs.  Our dedicated staff members are committed to assisting you with college life and providing you with the necessary tools to make positive choices to achieve your educational goals.

We would encourage you to become familiar with the Gaston College Student Handbook and the Gaston College Catalog.  These are invaluable resources that will assist you.   Both of these resources are available online and in print.   You may obtain a printed copy in our offices.  These publications were designed to answer the questions that students have asked. Take the time to read them and benefit from the information without trial and error experiences.  Should you have questions that you cannot find within these resources, be sure to come see us or contact us at (704) 922-6541.

We encourage you to get to know us.  Visit our offices, located on the second floor of the Myers Center.  Research indicates that students who are successful establish meaningful relationships in class and out of class.  We are looking forward to assisting you, and we wish you an exciting, challenging, and successful college experience.
