Frequently Asked Questions
A. From the WebAdvisor Main Menu, click on What is my User ID?. You will be directed to the What’s my User ID? screen. In order to retrieve your User ID, you must fill in your last name and one of the two additional identifying numbers (i.e. your SSN or College ID).
A. The initial default password is your birthday in a MMDDYY format. You will be required to change it during your initial Login.
A. From the WebAdvisor Main Menu, click on What is my Password?. You will be directed to the What’s my password screen. Select one of the options provided and follow the instructions.
NETWORK/ACTIVE DIRECTORY LOGIN
1. What does the Network/Active Directory Login access?
A. The Network/Active Directory Login ID provides access to campus computers, E-Mail, GCNet (Employees Only), GC wireless network and Helpdesk.
A. Your Network/Active Directory Login User Name is the same as your WebAdvisor User Name.
A. Your Network/Active Directory password will be sent to your supervisor once set-up is complete.
A. Print Management is a service instituted by Gaston College to significantly lower the cost and environmental impact of printing in computer labs and the libraries.
A. Your supervisor must complete a Print / Copier Access Form.
A. Black and White copies cost $.10 per copy and Color copies cost $.35 per copy.
A. Each month departmental deans receive a report for their departments and an invoice sent to Accounts Payable.
