ADMISSIONS PROCESS
For all programs, the following steps must be completed for admission into Gaston College.
- Complete and submit application
Complete application online or pick up application at the Admissions Office on the main campus, Dallas Campus, 2nd floor Myers Center. Submit completed application to:

- Submit an official college transcript
If taking a class that requires a prerequisite, submit college transcript.
Placement test needed if no college transcript has been submitted to Gaston College for classes that require prerequisites.
- Attend a new student orientation
Attend a new student orientation session to help ensure academic success and learn more about student resources, college policies, procedures, and publications.
Please note: Students will be given specific information about when to attend orientation after each placement testing session. Students that are exempt from placement testing will receive an orientation postcard in the mail.
- Meet with a counselor or academic advisor
After attending an orientation session, meet with a counselor or academic advisor for:
