Scholarships
Scholarships are available in the arts.
To apply, fill out a Financial Aid application and communicate with the
department chair to set up an interview.
There is no portfolio review for
admission to the art major. However, prospective art majors may need to
present a collection of their work in consideration for a scholarship.
Portfolios should include a variety of media.
All art and music courses are
transferable to institutions in the University of North Carolina system.
Some of the courses may be used to satisfy the core requirement in
humanities/fine arts.
Art students should
confer with a member of the art faculty about course selection prior to
registration.
