Nursing Assistant I
 

**Update on Summer NA I Classes**
All classes are currently full as of today.
We will post updates here and on our Facebook page if space becomes available.

Summer Nurse Aide I Class Information
Dates: June 2-July 31 (Break 6/30-7/4)
Days: M-TH (all classes)
Campus/Times: Dallas 9am-2pm, Dallas 4pm-9pm, Lincoln 9am-2pmPlan to attend all classes.

If you are interested in our summer classes, please give us a call at and leave a message with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Phone Number
  • Email address
  • Class preference
  • If you are in need of financial aid 
Those who leave a message will be notified after March 15 with information regarding the required packet session. Registration information will be given to those who attend a packet session.

College application, orientation, and Accuplacer/COMPASS testing are required.

To schedule an appointment you will need the following items:

  1. Complete General Admissions Requirements
  2. Health Form Completed and Signed by Your Doctor
  3. Immunization History
    -MMR - series of 2 or Positive Titer
    -2-Step TB Skin Test
    -Hep B - Series of 3 or Positive Titer
    -Tdap (Tetanus)- within 10 years
    -Varicella (Chicken Pox) -Series of 2 or Positive Titer
    -Flu Shot* Required during flu season if you complete clinical at a Caromont facility.
  4. Criminal Background Check (Click I WANT TO VOLUNTEER to place your order)
 

 

 




Nursing Assistant II

Nursing Assistant II will not be offered during the Summer 2014 semester.

Registration is in person only.  Registration requires prerequisites listed below.

  • Proof of graduation from high school, or GED
  • Proof of a state approved NA I class of 75 to 120 hours
  • Current NC registry listing
  • Proof of current CPR certification

Medication Aide

Medication Administration is the process of safely and accurately giving medications to another person.  During this course, you will learn and develop the skills required for proper medication administration, ensuring that you provide safe and accurate medication administration for your clients. 

Registration requires the prerequisites listed below. Certification for listing is by state testing at one of four selected locations in NC.  Documentation of prerequisites
is due the first day of class.

  • Proof of graduation from high school, or GED
  • Proof of a state approved NA I class of 75 to 120 hours
    NOTE: You will need to be listed on the NA I Registry prior to taking the certification exam for Medication Aide.
