Gaston College business and information technology programs are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
What is ACBSP? It is the leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. The association embraces the virtues of teaching excellence and emphasizes the importance of faculty involvement within the contemporary business world to enhance the quality of classroom instruction and to contribute to student learning.
Office Systems Technology students are invited and encouraged to join the Gaston College Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).
IAAP is an organization that assists career-oriented business students in developing a better understanding of office professionals and the business world. It exists to provide opportunities for interaction among students, educators, and office/business professionals. It encourages the professional growth and leadership potential of students through active participation in and affiliation with organizations unique to their professional vocations.
Involvement in the IAAP student program is an ideal way for students to prepare themselves for the business world and seek excellence in their future career.
