Library cards are issued to students, faculty, staff, and community users at the circulation/reserves desk. Picture identification must be presented at time of application. Cardholders must be 18 years of age or enrolled in a Gaston College program. The Acceptable Use Policy for computer usage is agreed upon during library card application.

General Collection 3 weeks 10 cents/day
Reserves varies $1.00 /day
Audiovisual materials 1 week $1.00 /day
Reference materials Library only
Magazine & newspapers Library only

Interlibrary Loan Service

Students, faculty and staff of Gaston College may request materials from one of the 45 libraries of the Community College Libraries in North Carolina (CCLINC) consortium. If the item is not available from CCLINC, library staff will seek to obtain the material from public or university libraries upon request. Items will be held for pick up for one week after the requestor has been notified.
