Google Scholar searches scholarly literature and includes peer-reviewed papers, dissertations, book citations, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from a variety of content providers. Sources of material include academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and open access publishers. Some content is available in full text.

Gale Virtual Reference Library provides respected authoritative essays on varied topics from numerous subject areas, all in E-Book reference title format.

Health Source: Consumer Edition [MEDICAL]

Provides full text from over 250 periodicals covering nutrition, exercise, medical self-care, drugs and alcohol, etc. Also provides full text for over 1,000 pamphlets and 19 books. Coverage: indexing and abstracts, 1984- ; full text, 1990-



Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition [MEDICAL]

Provides more than 400 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines, and provides abstracts and indexing for over 500 journals. Also includes integrated results from Clinical Pharmacology (which replaces USP DI: Volume II, Advice for the Patient) and access to Stedman's Medical Dictionary.



Master File Complete [GENERAL]

Designed specifically for public libraries, this multidisciplinary database provides full text for more than 2,000 general reference publications with full-text information dating as far back as 1922. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Complete also contains full text for nearly 1,000 reference books and over 107,000 primary source documents, as well as an Image Collection of more than 592,000 photos, maps & flags. MasterFILE Complete offers PDF backfiles (as far back as 1975) for key publications including American Libraries, Foreign Affairs, History Today, Judaism, Library Journal, National Review, Saturday Evening Post, etc.



PBS Video Collection [SCIENCE]

A selection of nearly 250 PBS programs, including films from award winning documentarian Ken Burns, and series such as Scientific American Frontiers, American Experience, and Frontline. These videos are available using video stream and require Adobe Flash Player Version 9.0 or higher.

Science is the world's leading weekly general scientific journal, and publishes high-impact, original peer-reviewed research and breaking science news. Coverage provides access from 1997 to the current issue.



Science Reference Center [SCIENCE]

A comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full text science-oriented content. Designed for science students, Science Reference Center contains full text for hundreds of science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, and other sources.

Topics covered include: biology, chemistry, earth & space science, environmental science, health & medicine, history of science, life science, physics, science & society, science as inquiry, scientists, technology and wildlife. Science Reference Center also provides teachers and librarians with articles correlated to state and national curriculum standards.



Statistical Abstract of the United States [GENERAL]
The Statistical Abstract of the United States provides statistical tables and charts covering various aspects of social, political and economic life. Although the emphasis is on the United States, some tables cover regions, states, cities, and comparative international statistics. Information for the product is gathered from all agencies of the federal government and from private, commercial, and professional sources.
