This full text database covers topics such as aging, cancer, diabetes, drugs & alcohol, fitness, nutrition & dietetics, children's health, men & women's health, etc.



Credo Reference [MEDICAL]

If yes, then check out the Credo Reference library. Credo Reference enables users to find authoritative answers to their reference questions really fast. It features content from hundreds of reference books in a broad range of subjects. Through Credo Reference you can gain access to approximately 3,189,327 entries, from 404 titles and 62 publishers.



DENTAL DATABASE [MEDICAL]

The Dental Database includes nine (9) electronic medical titles, and additional resources including Stedman’s Medical Dictionary; MedCalc 3000, a computerized medical reference and tool set; Pub Med, a service of the National Library of Medicine which includes over 15 million citations for biomedical articles; and the National Guideline Clearinghouse, a public resource for evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. All Dental titles and resources are cross-searchable, full-text titles from a wide variety of reputable authors, publishers, and societies.

Health Source: Consumer Edition [MEDICAL]

Provides consumer oriented information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine, and general health. Includes searchable full text for over 150 consumer health journals, abstracts and indexing for nearly 175 general health, nutrition and professional health care publications, and thousands of essays covering eight major health related subjects, including adult health, behavioral health, cardiology, drug and medication information, pediatric health, senior health, women's health and sports medicine. Includes results from Clinical Pharmacology, which replaces information previously obtained from USP DI: Volume II, Advice for the Patient.



Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition [MEDICAL]

Provides more than 400 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines, and provides abstracts and indexing for over 500 journals. Also includes integrated results from Clinical Pharmacology (which replaces USP DI: Volume II, Advice for the Patient) and access to Stedman's Medical Dictionary.

One of the most comprehensive web resources for quality consumer health information. Developed by the National Library of Medicine at the National Institutes of Health, the site contains extensive, high quality information on common diseases and conditions, health promotion and wellness, prescription and non-prescription drugs, medical dictionaries and more. There are also interactive health tutorials and information on clinical trials. A Spanish version is also available at the vendor's site



PubMed [MEDICAL]

A service of the National Library of Medicine, PubMed provides access to over 11 million citations from MEDLINE and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.
