How to borrow books and order articles from other libraries
Borrowing Books
You must search the Gaston College Libraries catalog first. If you do not find what you are looking for search ALL Libraries in CCLINC.
Once you have identified the book that you would like to order click the details button beside of the book you would like to order and then click Place Hold. Enter your library barcode number as the User ID and you will be informed when the book arrives.

If the book is not found within ALL Libraries in the catalog, then proceed to filling out an Interlibrary Loan(ILL) form after reviewing the ILL policy.
Ordering Articles
If you search the library databases and you cannot find the full-text of your article online you may order it through Interlibrary Loan.
Identify the article you need from either searching our databases or the Internet.

Please fill out the Interlibrary Loan form for ordering an article after reviewing the ILL policy. Keep in mind that the library will make every effort to order the article from a library that does not charge lending fees, but there may be some instances where you would have to pay a processing fee in order to receive the article. The ILL librarian will inform you if a paying fee is necessary.
