Instructor-Medical Office Administration (9 Months)

Minimum Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, nursing, or related field required; master’s preferred. Coding, RHIA, RHIT, and/or nursing certifications preferred. Minimum one year experience teaching at college level and experience teaching computer applications required; community college experience, medical field experience, and three years teaching experience preferred. Must meet minimum SACS criteria and the minimum criteria of other pertinent accrediting, licensing, and credentialing agencies in the area of teaching assignment. (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED)
Job Description  Full-time teaching position includes student advisement, participating in program development, other college responsibilities, and sharing program responsibility and duties as assigned. Teach day and evening classes at multiple sites through multiple modes. NOTE: Hiring contingent upon availability of funds.

Prior college teaching and online teaching experience required; community college experience preferred. Experience in a Writing Center or other tutoring experience preferred.
