Compensatory Education (CED) is a community college program designed to compensate adults with intellectual disabilities who have not had an education or who have received an inadequate one. Students in the CED program work to develop skills and abilities necessary to obtain employment and achieve self-sufficiency. Courses are offered in the areas of community living skills, consumer education, health, language, math, social science, and vocational education.
Compensatory Education classes assists adults with intellectual disabilities in acquiring the basic academic skills and life skills needed to function successfully in daily life.
