Basic Law Enforcement Training News/Information Three Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) classes are currently offered each year. The BLET day classes begin each January and August. These classes meet Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. most days. This class takes approximately four months to complete. The BLET evening class begins in September. This class meets Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. most days. This class takes approximately nine months to complete.
