Science

The mission of the Science Department is to ignite student curiosity and to prepare future professionals for success in evolving work, academic, and social environments. The faculty is committed to excellence in teaching, life-long learning, and research. We encourage scientific and mathematical literacy, scholarship, inquiry, novel methods of instruction, the exchange of ideas in the classroom and laboratory, and promote the application of this knowledge. We seek to foster these principles in every one of our students, regardless of their academic backgrounds.
