Testing General Information
Welcome
Testing staff at Gaston College administer COMPASS and ASSET placement tests, TEAS for students applying for the Associate Degree Nursing and Veterinary Technology programs, and the National and Residual ACT by appointment.
You may qualify for testing accommodations on the basis of a disability (physical disability, hearing impairment, visual impairment, documented learning disability, etc.). Contact the Counselor-Special Needs at 704-922-6224 to discuss testing accommodations and required documentation. Please advise us before you begin any test if you need special accommodations.
Children are not allowed in the testing area while you take a test and may not be left unattended outside the area. A photo ID, such as a driver's license, is required for all testing. Cellular phones and pagers are not permitted at any time in the testing area.
